History

The launching plans of the company were drawn in 1998. It is the time when the telecommunications market in Romania registered an important growth. Due to the development of the mobile telephony GSM operators, the market segment of the services offered to them started to grow significantly. RCA founders tried to  answer to the new requirements and challenges in the field through the development of the services of implementation, commissioning and integration of network elements using different communication standards (GSM, UMTS, CDMA), addressed to the telecom operators in Romania. 

After two years of continuous adjustments, RCA recorded its first major achievement: a frame agreement signed with Connex-Vodafone mobile operator together with running a special program of training certification for Ericsson equipment. 

Today, RCA offers a complete range of services (both stand-alone and turn key solutions). Also, the growing competencies allowed the company to work with well known manufacturers of telecom equipmets, like Ericsson, Sagem, Harris, Siemens, Alcatel, Nortel, NEC, CISCO, Nera etc. 

These contracts placed the company on a growing trend and differentiated it versus all other competitors. But the most important fact is that RCA could respond to the customers' demand to offer a complete range of services even in the conditions of launching of modern communications networks, built and developed in multi-vendor architecture. 

The best barometer of one's company market position is the turnover and the number of employees. RCA has developed fast, reaching the level of a medium company only in 3-4 years. Constantly, in the past 3 years, RCA's turnover has grown in real terms with 15-23%, and the number of employees surpasses the figure 100 today.
